Juliana Spínola Marcili (Sao Paulo, Brasil)
Multidisciplinar artist, actress, theater director and acting coach for theater and film.
Member of international projects such as Beyond Borders with Instabili Vaganti (ITA), Magdalena Project. (UK), Bardo Teatro (Mexico).
She holds a Bachelors Degree in Artistic Education with specialization in Performing Arts from the Universidade de Sao Paulo (BRA) with an awarded academic exchange in Dramatic Literature and Theater by Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Mexico (MEX).
She is the Founder & CEO of the international project La Pacha Apapacha and Yenomadas.
Juliana has been invited and participated as a Brazilian artist to: the UNFIX New York Theater/Dance Festival (NY); the International Project Rags of Memory/Performazioni Festival with Instabili Vaganti (ITA); the Festival Singing our Place (DK); the 7th Festival Mujeres en Escena (Argentina); the 2nd Congress Cuerpo, Territorio y Violencia en America Latina (CIALC/UNAM, Mexico) and the 1st Coloquio Latinoamericano de investigación y practicas en la danza – VISCESC (INBA/CDMX, Mexico).
She worked with international artists and companies such as Instabili Vaganti (ITA), Alberto Villarreal (MEX), Teatro da Vertigem (BRA), Lot Meijers (HOL), La Pocha Nostra (MEX-EUA), Raúl Iaiza (POL) and had presented shows in Europe, US and Latin-America. She worked in art galleries in New York City and curated an exhibition in the Hotel Belas Artes in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
As art educator, Juliana is constantly teaching courses and workshops about theater-dance, body expression and theater in schools and cultural centers. She works in the intersection of artistic languages and participates constantly as intern/invite in festivals, congress and art events.
